Had these players flipped schools, it would have been likely that their roles would have switched. Washington was able to stick to one position and focus on just being a wide receiver. He was all over the field and really put together a remarkable high school campaign. High School Career: Wright did everything at Wall, lining up as a running back, receiver and defensive back. Had Wright been able to utilize the visibility available to today’s recruits, he would likely have pulled in just as many offers as Washington. A lot changed in recruiting as the two players committed a little more than a decade apart. Washington claimed a total of 22 while Wright was a little more than half that. Recruitment: It was a busy recruitment for both players as each pulled in double-digit offers.
